ABOUT ME
Have you ever heard of Dan Millman’s book “Way of the Peaceful Warrior”? Looking back on my life, I think my Yoga journey started the moment I started reading that book. I was a 14 years old teenager at the time, confused yet hopeful there was a path I could find, or better, carve for myself in which I would simply feel at peace. As the pages turned, I was treading with Dan, the main character, the path of the peaceful warrior, fascinated at its width but not quite grasping its depth. Then life like life did its part and stirred me on different directions and interests causing me to lose touch with that peaceful warrior. Only years later at 27, after joining a good friend to a Yoga class I discovered some practical tools to live a life as a peaceful warrior. From that point on, my Yoga and Meditation practice became a deep, conscious, and regular part of my life.

Today, filled with great inspiration from different Yoga teachers and masters, I am happy to teach, to guide, and accompany people on their own Yoga journey, and allow them to connect with their inner Guru.

In my Hatha Yoga classes students get the opportunity to turn inward and reflect about their actions, inactions, and feelings. This opens them to learn about themselves, and in turn, to learn something about others. Yoga is not only about the flexibility of the body but also the mind. It’s about being aware of one’s own thoughts and emotions, becoming conscious and accepting of them, and giving them all space to come to surface without judging. It is an important goal of the practice to become both mentally and physically strong and flexible at the same time. We become aware of the interaction of body, mind, and soul. In my classes we connect all these elements with the help of Yoga Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques), and Meditation.
After years of learning and practicing, I have come to realize that what I love the most is also my purpose: To teach Yoga to others, so that they can experience and enrich their lives the same way I do. Allowing me to do that and fulfill my purpose is what makes me truly grateful.
